CSC 424 - Computer Security Comprehensive technical study of computer security, with specific focus on the computing aspects. Basics of computer security including an overview of threat, attack, and adversary models; essentials of cryptography; system security in practice; trusted system design; public policy issues including legal and privacy issues; network and database security overview.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: CSC 331 with a “C” or better or instructor approval. Crosslisting: CYBR 424. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
