MAT 467 - Introduction to Mathematical Biology An introduction to applications of mathematical concepts in developing, analyzing and simulating deterministic biological models. Mathematical methods may include discrete and continuous modeling, non-linear difference equations, as well as ordinary and partial differential equations. Biological applications may include population dynamics, ecology, epidemiology, evolution, molecular biology, and physiology.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: MAT 335 and MAT 361 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite courses or consent of instructor. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
