NSG 398 - Health Policy This course focuses on social, psychological, economic, political, legal, ethical, and diverse environments which shape health care delivery systems. Nursing practice is studied relative to inter-professional collaboration, advocacy, and leadership. Critical analyses related to health policy, health care reform, health care systems, and determinants of health are examined through the development of scholarly writing skills.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite or corequisite: NSG 316 . Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to students in the RNBSN program. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
