SEC 430 - Seminar-Leadership, Reflection and Management Practices

Development of instructional skills required for successful teaching with regard for the particular needs of the student’s academic discipline. Emphasis is given to 1) acquisition of leadership qualities and characteristics, 2) professional documentation of reflective growth, and 3) integration of effective behavior management strategies.

Credit Hours: 3

Corequisite Courses: SEC 431
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: All professional core and specialty area courses, acceptance into the Watson School of Education, and a 2.70 GPA on all work attempted at UNCW.
