SEC 200 - Teaching, Schools and a Global Society Introductory course for licensure in secondary education. Emphasis on interpretation and evaluation of the development of public education in the United States using historical, sociological, cultural, and philosophical perspectives. Course examines the goals and purposes of education in a global context with particular attention to the education of students in grades 9-12.
Credit Hours: 3
Corequisite Courses: SEC 210 and SEC 220 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Only open to students pursuing secondary licensure. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
