ANT 313 - Plantation Archaeology Exploration of the history, concepts, and current research in the archaeology and history of antebellum and postbellum southern US plantations. Topics include plantation economics, the roles of various individuals and groups in plantation society, and the integration and influence of plantations on 19th century and later American life. Study and interpretation of plantation remains using historical and archaeological approaches.
