HCA 512 - Finance for Healthcare Managers
Course Description: Designed to aid students in understanding the basic concepts of strategic financial management, students will come to recognize finance as a core function of the successful healthcare organization operating in an environment heavily focused on reform and quality of care. The core focus of this course is for students to become knowledgeable of how organizations organize and report financial data and use that data to make evidence based decisions. Students will appreciate the art of managing and controlling costs while simultaneously investing in strategic opportunities.
