HCA 504 - Healthcare Informatics Course Description: Healthcare informatics, an evolving field, harnesses the power of technology to collect, store, process, and disseminate data and shared knowledge related to the delivery and support of healthcare. This course examines healthcare informatics and its application in supporting decision-making recognizing its importance in the provision of effective and efficient healthcare. Topics include but are not limited to healthcare information systems infrastructure, enterprise architecture, applications, data, information security, telehealth, project management, and emerging technologies.
