GLY 543 - Tectonics Course Description: Examination of current ideas and their development as global tectonics theories. Plate tectonic controls on orogeny, orogenic belts, magmatism, sedimentation, and metallogeny of major geologic regions of North American and other areas of the world. Three lecture hours per week.
