GLY 540 - Regional Geology of North America Course Description: Survey of the rocks, structures, natural resources, and tectonic histories of different regions of North America, such as the Precambrian shield, Appalachians, and Cordillera. Syntheses of theories of orogenesis. Three lecture hours per week.
