REC 440 - Risk Management and Liability in Recreation Services


Examination of legal and legislative issues affecting the leisure delivery system in governmental, quasi-public, private, commercial, and institutional settings. Topics include terminology, risk management procedures, ordinances, regulatory law, licensing, legal redress, and constitutional law at the national and state levels.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: REC 375  
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: REC majors and minors only or permission of instructor.
