SEC 435 - iSTEM - Education E-Portfolio and Reflective Seminar

Credit Hours: 3
Corequisite: SEC 431  (iSTEM). The course supports students’ professional growth and reflection throughout the internship. It focuses on planning and developing effective integrated STEM instructional strategies and assessing the impact of instruction on student learning. Emphasis is given to 1) acquisition of STEM leadership qualities and characteristics, 2) professional documentation of reflective growth, and 3) integration of effective classroom management strategies. This course also involves completing a research project conducted during the internship and developing an oral presentation of the project.
