PBH 105 - Explorations in Public Health Credit Hours: 3
General introduction to public health and how it interfaces with science and politics. Addresses the connectivity of public health and healthcare. The 3 P’s of public health: prevent, protect and promote, and the roles of personal and social determinants of health are covered utilizing current public health events and initiatives. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Understanding Human Institutions and Behaviors.
