PBH 234 - Introduction to Health Promotion and Education

Credit Hours: 3
(HEA 234 ) Prerequisite: PBHmajor only. Introduction to the field of Health Education/Promotion. History and philosophy of health education and the theoretical foundations are covered. The roles and responsibilities and typical settings in which Certified Health Education Specialists are employed are covered as well as the ethical principles that guide the profession.
