PSY 451 - Supervised Counseling Practice Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: PSY 246 , PSY 247 , and PSY 450 and consent of instructor. Supervision of student practice in application of counseling skills and techniques in a variety of in-service situations. Students participate in supervised counseling experiences in local social service agencies. Emphasis on practice of skills and regular consultation with the supervisor. May be repeated once for additional credit. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom.
