PHY 311  -  Mathematical Physics

Credit Hours: 0 Or 4
Prerequisite: PHY 202 . An introduction to the mathematical techniques in physics: vector analysis, operator and matrix analysis; functions of a complex variable and calculus of residues; differential equations, special functions of mathematical physics; eigenfunctions and the Sturm-Liouville equation; and Fourier series and transforms.
