Credit Hours: 3
An introduction to major themes in existential thought such as freedom, authenticity, death of God, the meaning of life. Primary source readings from existential authors, e.g., Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, Marcel. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Historical and Philosophical Approaches.
