HST 496 - Topics in the History of Science and Technology

Credit Hours: 3
(HST 586 ) Prerequisite: Any history survey (HST 101 - HST 249), and HST 290 , or consent of instructor. Intensive study of a selected theme in the History of Science and Technology. Examples of topics include: “Positivism”, “Occult Studies and the Renaissance”, “The Second Industrial Revolution”. May be repeated under a different subtitle. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning.
