HST 478 - The History and Meaning of Objects Credit Hours: 3 (HST 578 ) Prerequisite: Any history survey (HST 101 - 249) and HST 290 , or consent of instructor. Research-oriented exploration of the theory, practice, and historiography of using material objects as sources for the study of society and culture. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning.
