HST 381  -  History Early Islamic Societies

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: Any HST course or consent of instructor. Historical survey of the Middle East from pre-Islamic Arabia through the rise of the Ottoman Empire. Topics include the rise and development of empires, their political institutions and trade patterns; Islamic theology and law; and cultural achievements.
