HST 375  -  History of Central and Eastern Africa

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: Any HST course or consent of instructor. Survey of Central and Eastern Africa from earliest times to the present. Topics include early inhabitants, pre-colonial states and peoples, slavery and the slave trade, development of Islam and Christianity, colonialism, independence and recent events.
