EVS 498 - Internship in Environmental Studies Credit Hours: 1 To 12 Prerequisite: Declared major in Environmental Sciences, 2.00 GPA overall, consent of instructor, Director of Environment Sciences, and Dean of College of Arts and Sciences. Synthetic approach to the study of the environment. Development of the “holistic” view of the environment, its interrelationship with science, technology, and society in a seminar format. Involves a work experience with an agency or organization in the area of environmental studies. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom. Additional insurance expense may be necessary.
