ENG 290 - Themes in Literature Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 201 , or consent of instructor. An interdisciplinary study of a significant theme, such as war and peace, justice, love, youth and age, focusing primarily on literary works but also drawing on sources from other fields, including art, music, and history. May be repeated under a different subtitle. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Aesthetic, Interpretive, and Literary Perspectives. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive.
