CSC 455 - Database Design and Implementation

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: CSC 331   with a grade of ‘C’ or better. Introduction to data base concepts, data independence, logical and physical views of data base systems. Data models: hierarchical, network, and relational. Data description languages, query functions, relational algebra. Substantial software project required.
