COM 361  -  Media Law and Ethics

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: COM 265 or COM 268 , or consent of instructor, and a grade of ‘B’ or above in COM 200 . Restricted to COM majors or journalism minors. Survey of laws and ethical principles that inform and regulate mediated communication, including freedom of expression, rights, responsibilities and regulations of professional communicators; intellectual property and pornography.
