BIO 170 - Biology of the Sea

Credit Hours: 3
Introduction to marine environments, the diversity of marine life, and the role of humans in the utilization of marine resources. Study of local marine habitats, including salt marshes, sandy beaches, tidal flats and rocky shores. Three lecture hours each week. Partially satisfies University Studies II:Approaches and Perspectives/Scientific Approaches to the Natural World.
