NSG 321 - Gerontological Nursing and the End of Life Care Credits: 3 Prerequisite or corequisite: NSG 316 . This course introduces students to the functional, physiological, cognitive, psychosocial, and socioeconomic needs of older adults. Students will synthesize science, knowledge and assessment to facilitate safe, quality management of care for older adult populations. Content includes primary, secondary and tertiary care and prevention, family roles, legal, ethical issues, and resource allocation.
