Prerequisites: Senior standing (1 semester prior to internship) or permission of instructor, and RTH 390. Students (a) become proficient in clinical/professional writing; (b) apply to five or more internship sites; (c) complete internship contracts and affiliation agreements; (d) set professional goals for their clinical experience; and (e) complete required certification trainings and mandatory requirements of the agency (students may incur extra costs for certification trainings).
