GLY 390 - Field Methods in Geosciences

  Prerequisite: GLY 132  or consent of instructor. Applied study of geological materials and processes in field settings. Introduction to methods and techniques used in the geosciences including field measurement, sample retrieval and data analysis. Colloquium and required field trips. Fees. May be repeated twice for credit. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom.
