ART 103 - Color Theory

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: ART 101 . More than simply color mixing, color theory touches on the cultural, scientific, and historical aspects of color in society as well as in the fine and applied arts. Students will learn how to use the three fundamental aspects of color hue, value, and saturation to effectively control, discuss, and design with color. Partially satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Creative Thought.
