SOC 498 - Internship in Sociology

Credits: 3 - 6

Prerequisites: SOC 300, SOC 301, SOC 360, SOC 391. Restrictions: junior or senior standing, at least a 2.00 GPA, and instructor consent, cannot take internship and practicum. The application of sociological theory and concepts under supervision at a site in which the student observes and participates in highly organized social interaction. Placement must be approved by faculty coordinator, department chair, and dean in the semester prior to the internship.
