(CLA 209) Prerequisite or corequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 200 or ENG 201, or consent of instructor. Major authors of ancient Greece and Rome. Emphasis on ancient literature in its social context and on classical themes in later literatures. May be repeated under a different subtitle.
