Enrollment in this course is restricted to students accepted into the Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program. This course is designed to explore the social, historical, philosophical, and cultural foundations of United States public education. Students will examine past and contemporary school practices, educational policy and the relationship between policy, identity and practice.
