EDN 400 - Immigration, Demographics, and Justice in Education

This course will consider immigration, changing demographics in the United States, the effects of these changes on schools and communities, and power structures that support and/or hinder school and community responses to changing demographics. Specific attention will be given also to differences in rural and urban demographic shifts and the effects of those shifts on education. Partially satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Immigration.
