Beginning exercises with materials and tools used to paint stage settings and backdrops. Demonstrations and projects in brush and non-brush techniques; layout; color mixing; and stencils. Practical projects include color blends; textures; brick and stone; interior and exterior woodwork, and marble. Requires involvement with University Theatre productions.
