TFP 106 - Introduction to Teacher as Leader II

Prerequisite: Formal enrollment in the Teaching Fellows Program or consent of director. In-depth introduction to, and examination of, the teaching profession and the development of leadership skills necessary for successful practice. Students will hear from classroom leaders and support personnel from all grade levels. A service learning component with an area middle school is required and includes a tutoring component. Emphasis also upon the development of skills essential for academic success.
