OCN 250 - Beaches and Coasts Credits: 3 Examination of the variability of coastal landforms, the varied processes that shape them, and problems brought about by natural and anthropogenic changes along the coast. Focus on barrier island and spit formation, study of beaches, cliffs/platforms, dunes, estuaries and marshes, effects of tectonics, ice and rivers on beaches and coastal morphology. and deltas.
