Prerequisite or corequisite: FST 205 or permission of instructor. Survey of the history and aesthetics of Latin American film, from the “Golden Age” of Mexican cinema to the development of the New Latin American Cinema of the 1960s, up to more recent work of the contemporary renaissance.
