FRH 404 - Advanced French for the Professions Credits: 3
Prerequisite: FRH 302 or FRH 303 or equivalent or consent of instructor. Advanced work in uses of French in various professional settings, including diplomacy, international affairs, global development organizations, medical professions, film and fashion industries, culinary arts, and others. Emphasis on research of professional organization in the Francophone world, individual and/or group presentations, and written reports specific to each profession. Content may vary to address individual needs. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Capstone Course. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Information Literacy.
