EDN 409 - Practicum

Credits: 12

Corequisite: EDN 408 except for physical education and music education majors. Prerequisites: As specified for EDN 408. Students will be assigned full-time to practicum sites within their areas of specializations. During the course, students will engage in a variety of supervised instructional activities, assuming increasingly wider responsibility for class instruction. Practical are offered in the following areas of specialization: biology, chemistry, English, French, geology, history, mathematics, music, physical education (and health), physics, social studies, and Spanish. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Capstone Course. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom.
