Prerequisite: CSC 331 . Introduction to data base concepts, data independence, logical and physical views of data base systems. Data models: hierarchical, network, and relational. Data description languages, query functions, relational algebra. Substantial software project required. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Capstone Course.
