SEC 406 - Theory and Practice in Teaching Secondary Science (9-12)

Corequisites: SEC 410, SEC 421, SEC 422. Prerequisite: SEC 300. Emphasis on theory, curriculum development (including interdisciplinary and global), inquiry, critical thinking, classroom management, instructional strategies and selection of appropriate instructional materials. Successful planning and teaching practices with adaptations to diverse needs of students will be discussed.
