REC 351 - Travel and Tourism

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: REC majors and minors only or permission of instructor. Introduction of the commercial area of the leisure field, which is concerned with travel and tourism. Emphasis on travel motivation; economic, social, environmental and cultural impacts; and marketing and promotion of travel and tourism. Field work required. Partially Satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Global Diversity.
