MUS 215 - Recording Technology II

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: MUS 214  or consent of instructor. A continuation of MUS 214 . Simultaneous multi-track recording, mixing, automation setup and function, along with basic Virtual Instrument application. Project oriented in that students will be assigned studio and remote recording projects. Stereo microphone techniques for instrumental and vocal recording and mixing projects. Basic MIDI principles utilizing hardware and software (virtual instruments).
