LIC 540 - Advanced Language Arts Methods 1, K-6

Credits: (3)
Co-requisites:  LIC 536  LIC 548  LIC 550  LICL 550 .  Focus on the curriculum, assessment, and instructional methods for teaching language arts at the elementary grades.  Course topics may include linguistics and psychological bases of the reading process, stages in the development of reading ability, and sequences of skill acquisition.  Field experience required.
