The UNCW One Card is the official form of identification on campus and grants access to all campus facilities and amenities. The UNCW One Card leverages NFC “tap” technology to make access and payments around campus as easy and convenient as tapping the One Card on designated readers. The One Card will feature each student’s personally submitted headshot, preferred name, and unique student ID number. The reverse side features important safety and contact information.
The UNCW One Card grants access to assigned housing, the UNCW Library, Rec Center, parking facilities and WAVE bus (for free!), UNCW sports events, and more. Local vendors also offer discounts as part of the Seahawks Saving Program.
The UNCW One Card is also how students utilize their meal plan, Seahawk Buck$ and Bookstore Dollars account. Students use their meal plan components by tapping the card at the register of any of the UNCW Dining locations. Seahawk Buck$ are a declining balance, prepaid account that can be utilized at UNCW Dining locations, vending machines, iPrint printers and services, the Student Health Center and Pharmacy, and more. Seahawk Buck$ can be loaded online through the Online Management Portal, or in person at the UNCW One Card Office located in Warwick Center. Bookstore Dollars are an exclusive Bookstore balance that can be loaded through the online Bookstore Dollars portal and can be used online or in person for any school materials at the UNCW Bookstore. Bookstore Dollars policy and features can be found on the UNCW One Card website.
