Courses used to satisfy core requirements cannot be used to satisfy the concentration requirements listed below.

Completion or proficiency in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish or other approved non-English language through at least the 202 level, preferably in the language used for international experience. International students enrolled in the North America concentration must provide documentation of their proficiency (equivalent to the 201 level) in a language other than English.
Total: 6-12 hours
International Experience Requirement:
International experience, as approved by Director (credit may count toward other requirements in the major), including:
15 hours in a thematic area (Art and Literature, Globalization, or the Environment), or a regional area (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East or North America); the North America concentration is restricted to international students.
12 hours at 300 level or above; must include at least two disciplines and must include at least two INT courses except for the North America concentration.
