MCOP 520 - Coastal and Environmental Science and Policy Course Description: The course examines the interactions between natural systems and the laws, programs, and policies used to manage impacts on those systems. Utilizing the experience of lectures, labs and fieldtrips, students are provided with a basic understanding of the development of environmental policy and the role science plays in the policy process.
