CHM 475 - Chemical Oceanography

Introduction to chemical oceanography, including discussion of sources, distribution, forms of occurrence of chemical species in seawater; chemistry of salty solutions; air-sea interactions; marine carbonate system; organic compounds and trace elements in seawater; estuarine chmistry.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: Prerequisite: CHM 102 . Recommended prerequisite or corequisite: CHM 235  and OCN 150 .
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
