ENG 387 - History of Literary Criticism and Theory

ENG 205  strongly recommended. A study of the major critical and theoretical statements that have been influential in how we think about literary texts, from the ancient Greeks to the postmodernists.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: ENG 103  or ENG 200  or ENG 201
